Organic Gardening for Beginners
We will discuss organic gardening techniques, including: soil composition and amendments, the importance of compost, plant care, different ways to combat infestations, and much more. Take this knowledge home and begin to take steps toward a greener planet.

Make a living, edible garden to take home. Mix and match herb combinations to suit your tastes. A fun way to get your hands dirty.

Red Riding Hood Story time
Ages 5 + ( limit 10 children )
Parents, enjoy a relaxing 5- course luncheon in our cottage as the children are brought into the world of Little Red Riding Hood. They will hear the classic tale as they enjoy a picnic lunch in our magical herb gardens. The picnic will be followed by a treasure hunt inspired by Little Red ! Costumes are encouraged!
Sunday July 6 and Sunday August 10 at 11:15 a.m. 45.00 for parent and child.
The Language Of Herbs and Flowers
Learn about the history and romance of Victorian herb language. Go into our gardens to gather plants with meaning and make a romantic bouquet to take home and dry.

Herbal Arrangements
Find the artist within as you make a wreath, head garland, or dried bouquet with plants harvested from the Pickity Place gardens.

Medicinal Herbs
Match herbs with common ailments and how they are used to assist in healing. Sample a few herbal infusions and learn how to make a tincture.

All Natural Herbal Body Care and Cleaning Products
If you have difficulty pronouncing the ingredients in you household cleaning products or your face lotion should you really be using it ? Learn inexpensive ways to take to take care of your home and body using common items that will nourish both you and the earth.
